Dena Patton.
Award-winning Coach. Speaker. Entrepreneur.

I coach women who are changing the world through their gifts, their purpose and their platforms (and a few men too!). I have lived the "Superwoman Syndrome lifestyle" and have learned there are great consequences to it. Today, I have a full life being involved in my faith, being a mom to a toddler, a wife, a house manager, involved with a charity and running two successful businesses...and I do it working 4 days a week and 9 hours of sleep a night.  I had to learn that living in overwhelm didn't "come with the territory",  instead it was a learned habit that I could break!  I did, and for the past ten years I've been coaching and training busy moms, successful entrepreneurs, celebrities and everyone in between on how to have your Superwoman cape and have balance too! I believe in the power and talents of women - we run the world. However, we can't do a good job with our kids, our contributions or our careers if we are sick, falling apart, scattered or just maxed out!  I am passionate about being a Superwoman who is changing the world and I'm equally passionate about 'doing it all' with grace, ease and balance.

I am a native of Phoenix, Arizona and at the age of 22 moved to NYC with $1500, a job and a dream.  I fulfilled that dream when I became a business owner at 24 with an award-winning (Harvard Business School Award) marketing and publishing company. At the age of 26 I experienced a minor-stroke and chose to sell my company to an internet company where I served as Director of Marketing and grew their online community (in 1998 without facebook!:) to 70,000 members.  In 1999 I traded in the 'job' to unite my passions and gifts through opening a practice that offers both lifestyle coaching and business coaching to entrepreneurs and celebrities who are changing the world. Those people, like yourself, are changing the world through their gifts, purpose and platforms and I want to help by teaching you the tools that will keep you in a centered, powerful, focused and balanced place.  I can help you get there.

In 2001 I took a 10-month break from my practice to help create The September 11 Photo Project as the Marketing and Media Spokesperson on a 6 city tour that raised money for the NYC Burn Center. After the tour I moved back home to Phoenix, Arizona to be near friends and family, and started a family of my own.

Out of my passion to empower and inspire women and girls I founded two movements: Chat, Chew and Chocolate, an inspirational-based women's club, in 2005 with 15,000 members (www.chatchewandchocolate.com).  In 2008 I cofounded The Girls Rule Foundation which empowers and educates girls 13-18 years old about self-esteem and good choice making, www.girlsrulefoundation.org. "Because we don't know what is really important to us, everything seems important. Because everything seems important, we have to do everything. Other people, unfortunately, see us as doing everything, so they expect us to do everything. Doing everything keeps us so busy, we don't have time to think about what is really important." -Anonymous
